I had my LT1 engine rebuilt and now the car is slower, why? - caprice towing package specs
I had my engine rebuilt LT1, and he threw a stick and he is professionally by a large company that has existed for decades, and it was replaced wtith all new parts, rebuilt where it could be. But now my car is slower than the line, and in general.
Before the break I had the pedal and the tires (POSI) in the 2 Peel and gurgled out and I had a great acceleration of the line. Well, it feels very slow.
I would this expansion is a 96 Caprice and now I have 5 good 6k miles on it last year because it was rebuilt.
The day was great .... .... Oil filter was impressive, but .... after the explosion .... was rebuilt and now he is not how I would feel CP1.
The gears are 2:93 and B4U towing package and I did not exHaust updates and has cats. Could a new engine and exhaust leads to a large age difference? I can not even starting, the brake pedal to the floor.

Large reciprocating engine Rebuilders generic use less compression and pull the ring of the Chevrolet factory. They also use generic Grind cameras do not always exactly match the factory specifications. Often, rings a "sink" of the valve seats or seat control valve on the cylinder head injury terrible and installed by the further reduction of the compression.
ReplyDeleteThese engines have even less power than the original. For most of these go unnoticed, because the old one and no power is already used in most cases.
The next time you create a hand built quality.
I want to upgrade timeing exaust with a walk and check the age CAMSHFT MOTOR might be a little different there, a head of employment there are many reasons this could realistic chance could also be a good problem to torque converter
ReplyDeleteDegrees until suddenly a couple and feel the power
ReplyDeleteAs mentioned omalla and Beth that there are many reasons why you can not get the performance, once came from CP1. None of the grinding chamber (specs.) on time and the river heads. BTW, what Mac you are using for the reconstruction or to get a decision? Thro, I think that should be 5-6K miles for the flight is sufficient. You can also consider as part of the problem here.
ReplyDeleteYou can build up in the following article in the LT1 look again.
And one more thing you might want to consider is Swappin 2.93 rear gears ALille more robust than a set of 3.42 'N 3.73' s. 2, 93 may be good for fuel economy. However, what is You need for each type of Racin, @, as the band.
Good luck!
This is a fraction of the time. The engine should be at full power in about 12 to 15k.
